26Manual Pause DialingWhen you call automated systems, you are often required toenter a password or account number. Instead of manuallyentering the numbers each time, you can dial the numbersalong with special characters called pauses. For moreinformation, refer to “Adding Pauses to Contact Numbers” onpage 49.To manually call a number with pauses without storing it inyour Contacts list:1. In Idle mode, enter a phone number.2. Press and hold to add a two-second pause. Theletter P will appear where the pause has been set.3. Continue to enter numbers, if desired.Tip: You can create pauses longer than two seconds byentering multiple P pauses.Redialing the Last NumberTo display the last number dialed:1. In Idle mode, press to view the Recent Calls menu.The last number dialed displays as the first item in a listof recent calls. If the caller is listed in your AddressBook, the associated name displays.2. Press to call.Dialing a Number From the Recent Calls MenuAll incoming, outgoing, and missed calls are listed in theRecent Calls menu. If the caller is listed in your AddressBook, the associated name displays.To access the Recent Calls menu:1. In Idle mode, press .2. Use the Left and Right Navigation keys to scroll throughthe Recent Calls options. Choose from All calls,Missed calls, Calls Made, Calls Received or PTTCalls.3. Scroll to a number and highlight to select.4. Press to call.
