7.2 TroubleshootingPaper Jams While the Machine is PrintingBy carefully selecting the paper type and loading them properly, youshould be able to avoid most paper jams. If paper jams occur, an errormessage appears on the display. Follow the steps below to clear the jam.To avoid tearing the paper, pull the jammed paper out gently and slowly.IF JAMMED IN THE PAPER INPUT TRAY1. Flip up the paper output tray and slide the paper input tray towardyou completely out of the unit.2. Remove the jammed paper by carefully pulling it out of the tray.3. Slide the paper input tray all the way back in and flip the paper outputtray back down.
