Messages130Voice mail (Menu 5.5)This menu allows you to access your voice mailbox,if your network supports this service.The following options are available:Connect to voice server: before using the Voicemail feature, you must enter the voice servernumber obtained from your service provider. Youcan then select this option and press the key orOK soft key to listen to your messages.You can quickly connect to the voice server bypressing and holding the 1 key in Idle mode.Voice server number: allows you to change thevoice mail server number, if necessary.Note: Voice mail is a network feature. Please contactyour service provider for further details.Broadcast messages (Menu 5.6)This network service allows you to receive textmessages on various topics, such as the weather ortraffic. Cell Broadcast (CB) messages display assoon as they are received, provided that:• the phone is in Idle mode.• the Receive option is set to Enable.• the message channel is currently active on thechannel list.Messages131The following options are available:Read: lets you view received message. TheVolatile box displays the messages from thenetwork, but loses its contents as soon as thephone is switched off. Scroll through the messageby using the Up and Down keys. While reading amessage, press the Save soft key to store themessage in the Archive box for later retrieval.Receive: allows you to enable or disable thereception of broadcast messages.Channel list: allows you to indicate the channelsfrom which you wish to receive broadcastmessages. The following options are available:Select: use to enable or disable channels on the listby marking or unmarking them, respectively. Acheck mark displays in front of each selectedchannel.Add channel: use to enter the ID and title for a newchannel.Delete: use to remove a channel from the list.Edit: use to change the ID and title of an existingchannel.Language: allows you to select your preferredlanguage in which to display cell broadcastmessages.Please contact your service provider for furtherdetails.
