Call Functions24Making a Call from the PhonebookYou can store frequently dialed phone numbers witha name in the SIM card or the phone memory, usingthe Phonebook. You then simply select the requiredname to recall the associated number. For furtherdetails on the Phonebook features, refer to page 31.Adjusting the VolumeDuring a call, if you want to adjust the earpiecevolume, use the volume keys on the left side of thephone.Press the key to increase and the key todecrease the volume.In idle mode with the folder open, you can adjust thekey volume using these keys.Call Functions25Answering a CallWhen somebody calls you, the phone rings and theincoming call animation appears on the displays.If the caller can be identified, the caller’s phonenumber or name, if stored in your Phonebook,displays.1. If necessary, open the folder. Press the key orthe Accept soft key to answer the incoming call.If the Anykey Answer option in the ExtraSettings menu (Menu 6.8) is checked, you canpress any key to answer a call, except for thekey and the Reject soft key (seepage 94).If the Active Folder option in the ExtraSettings menu (Menu 6.8) is checked, you cananswer the call simply by opening the folder (seepage 94).Note: To reject an incoming call, press and holdthe volume keys on the left side of thephone before opening the folder.2. End the call by closing the folder or pressing thekey.Note: You can answer a call while using thePhonebook or menu features.
