The more bars displayed, the better the signalstrength.2. Volume Up/Down Key: Allows you to adjust the ringer volume instandby mode (with the flip open) or adjust the voice volume duringa call. They can also be used to scroll up or down to navigatethrough the different menu options. To mute the ringer during anincoming call, press the Volume Key up or down.4. One Touch Internet Access Key: Allows you to have internet access,with the press of a button. When pressed, the PCS Wireless Webbrowser is automatically started.5. OK Key: Pressing when navigating through a menu accepts thehighlighted choice in the menu. Pressing for a few secondsautomatically dials your voicemail.6. TALK: Place or receive a call. In standby mode, press the key once toenter the Outgoing call log. If you press and hold the key down youwill initiate Voice Recognition.7. Numeric Keypad: Use these keys to enter numbers, letters, andcharacters.8. Shift/Asterisk: Enters the asterisk [*] character for calling features.In text entry mode, press to change the character input type.9. Accessory Interface Connector: This connector is used to connectany available accessory cables to your phone.10. Speaker: The speaker allows you to hear the other caller and thedifferent ring tones and sounds offered by your phone.11. Battery Indicator: The battery indicator displays the amount ofremaining battery charge currently available in your phone. Whenall bars are displayed in the battery icon, the phone’s battery is fullycharged. When they are not displayed, the phone’s battery iscompletely discharged or empty.12. Display Screen: The display screen displays all the informationneeded to operate your phone.
