To enter a symbol, press theappropriate key indicated on the display.To enter numbers, select the Number mode and press the appropriatekey.Adding a New Internal Phone Book EntryYour PCS Phone can store up to 250 Internal Phone number entries.Phone book entries can store up to a total of six phone numbers and theentry’s name can contain 12 characters.To add a new entry:1. From the main menu, enter a phone number.2. Press .Note: If you enter less than five numbers, press three to save the entry.3. Press to Save4. *The Add New Name screen is displayed. Press to enter a newname or scroll through the phone book to select an existing name.Press to add the additional number to the selected entry.5. Select a label by highlighting Home, Work, Mobile, Pager, Fax or NoLabel and press .6. Enter a name for entry using the numeric keys. Press to changethe entry method between T9, Alpha, Symbol, and Number.7. When finished entering the name, press to return to the phonebook entry.8. Press twice to save and confirm the entry.
