38Section 3: Entering TextThis section describes how to enter words, letters,punctuation and numbers when you need to enter text.Virtual QWERTY KeyboardYour device uses a virtual QWERTY keyboard for text entry.Use the keyboard to enter letters, punctuation, numbers, andother characters into text entry fields or applications. Accessthe keyboard by touching any text entry field.The virtual QWERTY keyboard displays at the bottom of thescreen. By default, when you rotate the device, the screenorientation updates to display the keyboard at the bottom ofthe screen.Using the Samsung KeypadThe Samsung Keypad is a custom virtual QWERTY keyboard,featuring predictive text. Input characters by touching theon-screen keys with your finger or use speech recognition.As you enter characters, predictive text matches your keytouches to common words and displays them.
