AccessibilityAccessibility services are specialfeatures that make using thedevice easier for those withcertain physical disabilities.Note: You can download additional accessibilityapplications from the Google Play store.1. From a Home screen, tap Apps >Settings.2. Tap Accessibility for options:Vision• Voice assistant: Give spoken feedback aloudto assist blind and low-vision users.- Voice Assistant can collect all of the textyou enter, except passwords, includingpersonal data and credit card numbers. Itmay also log your user interface interactionswith the device.• Voice assistant help: View help on usingVoice Assistant.• Dark screen: Keep the screen turned off at alltimes for privacy.• Rapid key input: Release your finger to enterselection instead of double tapping.• Speak passwords: Read the characters aloudas you enter your passwords.• Text-to-speech: Set your preferred TTSengine and options. For more information, seeText-to-Speech Options.• Accessibility shortcut: Quickly enableaccessibility features in two quick steps.• Font size: Set the font size.• High contrast fonts: Adjust the color andoutline of fonts to increase the contrast withthe background.• High contrast keyboard: Adjust the size ofthe Samsung keyboard and change its colorsto increase the contrast between the keys andthe background.• Show button shapes: Show buttons withshaded backgrounds to make them stand out.• Magnifier window: Magnify content shown onthe screen.• Magnification gestures: Use exaggeratedgestures such as triple-tapping, doublepinching, and dragging two fingers across thescreen.• Grayscale: Change all colors to gray.• Negative colors: Reverse the display of colorsfrom white text on a black background to blacktext on a white background.• Color adjustment: Adjust the color of thescreen if you are color blind or have difficultyreading the display because of the screencolor.Hearing• Turn off all sounds: Turn off all notificationsand audio for privacy.• Hearing aids: Improve the sound quality foruse with hearing aids.• Samsung subtitles (CC): Use Samsungsubtitles with multimedia files when available.• Google subtitles (CC): Use Google subtitleswith multimedia files when available.• Left/right sound balance: Use the slider toset the left and right balance when using astereo device.• Mono audio: Switch audio from stereo tomono for use with one earphone.Settings 92 Accessibility
