English 111 SCREEN DISPLAY AND POSITIONAt power ON, the operation display area appears at the topleft of the monitor screen.The operation display area showsthe date/time, image quality, remaining time, and otherinformation needed for operations.Example: Normal screenPlayback screen(1) Operating symbol displayDisplays the operation (such as recording or playback)and playback speed.The playback speed is displayed during fast-forward orfast-rewind playback at 15 times the normal playbackspeed or faster, and during slow or reverse slow playback.z During simultaneous recording and playback, thedisplay indicates playback ( ).(2) Image quality display (JP.29)Displays the quality of the image that can be recorded.Set to “HIGH” in the initial settings.(3) Audio recordingDisplays “A” when audio recording has been set.(4) Remaining time displayUnless “OVER WRITE” is set for recording, displays theremaining amount of recording time, as shown below.(5) Date display (JP.13)Shows the month/day/year.05-20-04 (month-day-year)(6) Time display (JP.13)“00:00:00” is displayed when you turn the power ON forthe first time.
