48SETTING MENUPress the MENU button and the ON-SCREEN MENU willappear. Press the POINT LEFT/RIGHT buttons to selectSETTING and press the SELECT (REAR CLICK) button.Another dialog box SETTING Menu will appear.Press the POINT DOWN button and a red-arrow icon willappear. Move the arrow to the item that you want to set, andthen press the SELECT (REAR CLICK) button to set it "On" or"Off" or press the POINT LEFT/RIGHT button to adjust thevalue.12Blue backWhen this function is “On,” this projector will produce a blue imageinstead of the video noise on the screen when the input source isunplugged or turned off.DisplayThis function decides whether to display the On-Screen Displays.On ··· shows all the On-Screen Displays.Off ···· sets the On-Screen Displays disappeared except; ON SCREEN MENU “Power off?” message P-TIMERSet the Pointer to the itemand press the SELECT(REAR CLICK) button.This function turns the Projection Lamp off when the projectordetects signal interruption and the projector is not used for a certainperiod in order to reduce power consumption and maintain the Lamp-life. (This projector is shipped with this function ON.)Power Management function operates to turn the Projection Lamp offwhen the input signal is interrupted and the projector is not operatedover 5 minutes. This function operates as follows;1. When the signal is interrupted, “No signal” and the countingdown (5 minutes) display appears.2. When the Projection Lamp turned off, the READY indicatorturns off. The Cooling Fans operate for 90 seconds after theProjection Lamp is turned off. (During this "Cooling Down"period, the Lamp cannot be turned on.)3. When the Lamp has cooled down, the READY indicator flashesand the Lamp can be turned on again (Power Managementmode).In this Power Management mode, the Projection Lamp isautomatically turned on when the input signal connected or theprojector is operated with any button on the Top Control or onthe Remote Control.Power managementTime left until Lamp off.Reverse T/BWhen this function is “On,” the top / bottom reversed picture isprovided to project the image from a ceiling mounted projector.Reverse L/RWhen this function is “On,” the left / right reversed picture is providedto project the image to a rear projection screen.Reverse T/B functionReverse L/R functionSplit wipeTurn this function “On” in the SETTING menu.
