The Indicator stops flashing when the temperature of the projector returns to normal.When WARNING TEMP. Indicator continues to flash, check the items listed below.The Ventilation slots of the projector may be blocked. In such an event, reposition the appliance so that the ventilationslots are not obstructed.AIR FILTER CARE AND CLEANINGAir filters may be clogged with dust particles. Clean the air filters by following the section AIR FILTER CARE ANDCLEANING below.12If WARNING TEMP. Indicator remains on after performing the above checks, the Cooling Fans or the Internal Circuitsmay be malfunctioning. Contact service a personnel from an authorized dealer or service station.3Turn the power off, and disconnect the AC power cord from theAC outlet.Turn the projector upside down and remove the Air Filter Coverby pressing four latches sideways and pulling up. Remove threeAir Filters by pulling up the latches.12The Removable Air Filter prevents dust from accumulating on the surface of the Projection Lens and theProjection Mirror. Should the Air Filter become clogged with dust particles, it will reduce the Cooling Fans'effectiveness and may result in internal heat build up and adversely affect the life of the projector.Clean the Air Filter following the steps below:Clean the Air Filters with brush or wash out the dust andparticles. Be sure to dry them out.3Replace the Air Filters and Air Filter Cover properly. Make surethat they are fully set.4CAUTIONDo not operate the projector with the Air Filter removed.Dust may accumulate on the LCD Panel and the Mirrordegrading picture quality.Do not put small parts into the Air Intake Vents. It mayresult in malfunction of the projector.RECOMMENDATIONWe recommend avoiding dusty/smoky environments whenoperating the projector. Usage in these environments maycause poor image quality.When using under dusty or smoky conditions, dust may accumulateon the liquid crystal panel, lens, or optical elements inside it. Thiscondition may degrade the quality of the projected image.When the above symptoms are noticed, contact your authorizeddealer or service station for proper cleaning.Press the latchessideways and pull up.Remove three AirFilters by pulling upthe latches.
