61Turn off the projector and unplug the AC power cordfrom the AC outlet.Turn over the projector and pull out the filter cover(bottom); pull up the handle and take out the wholefilter (bottom.)Press up the latches and pull out the filter cover (side);pull out the handle and take out the side filter.12Filter prevents dust from accumulating on the optical elements inside the projector. Should the filter becomeclogged with dust particles, it will reduce cooling fans’ effectiveness and may result in internal heat buildupand adversely affect the life of the projector. If a “Filter warning” icon appears on the screen, replace the filtersimmediately. Replace the filters by following the steps below.Put new filters back into the position. Make sure thatthe filters are fully inserted to the projector.3CAUTION–Do not operate the projector with the filtersremoved. Dust may accumulate on the opticalelements degrading picture quality.–Do not put anything into the air vents. Doing somay result in malfunction of the projector.–Do not wash the filters with water or any otherliquid matter.
