Press the POWER ON/STAND-BY button again toturn off the projector.When the Power off confirmation function is set to “Off,”the projector can be turned off without the confirmationmessage. (See “Power off confirmation” on page 40.)The automatic slide shutter closes and the POWER indicatorstarts to blink red. The blinking continues for about 90seconds while the cooling fans are running.1TO MAINTAIN LIFE OF LAMP, ONCE YOU TURN PROJECTORON, WAIT AT LEAST FIVE (5) MINUTES BEFORE TURNING ITOFF.DO NOT UNPLUG AC POWER CORD WHILE COOLING FANSARE RUNNING OR BEFORE POWER INDICATOR STOPSBLINKING. OTHERWISE IT WILL RESULT IN SHORTENINGLAMP LIFE.2 When the projector is cooled down enough to be turned onagain, the POWER indicator stops blinking. Wait until the POWERindicator stops blinking to be turned on again.• The running speed of cooling fans is changed according to thetemperature inside the projector.• If the WARNING indicator blinks or emits red light, see “WarningIndicator” on page 44.• Do not put the projector in a case before it is cooled enough.Basic OperationDO NOT OPERATE THE PROJECTOR CONTINUOUSLYWITHOUT REST.
