27ƑHas the neck cushiondegraded? ƑCheck that there is no tearing, dirt orsinking of the neck cushion surface. ƑThese may cause pain or transfer dirt to thecustomer's neck and head. The neck cushion isconsumable supplies. Replace it as soon aspossible.ƑIs the mounting surfaceof the basin unit wetwith water?ƑOpen the maintenance cover andcheck that the mounting surfaceand pipes are not wet with water.ƑThere is a possibility that water is leaking from thepipes. If this is the case, immediately stop usingthe product and contact your closest dealer.ƑIs there an abnormalodor coming from thebasin drain?ƑCheck if there is an abnormal odorcoming from the basin drain ƑRemove any hair and other objects trapped in thehair catcher. (see page 18)ƑDoes the basin,backrest or seat rattle? ƑSlowly push the rear end of the basin,top of the backrest or the front end ofthe seat in each direction, and checkwhether they rattle.ƑRattling may cause incorrect operation or damagein the main body, or cause it to fall over. Stopusing the product.ƑDoes the water stopknob work properly? ƑTurn the water stop knob and checkif warm water is output properly andthat there is no abnormal noise,then close the water stop knob andcheck that warm water stopsproperly.* An abnormal gushing sound may be emittedas water flows. (see page 13)ƑIf there is abnormal noise or the water does notturn off properly when the water stop knob isclosed firmly, there may be a malfunction in thestop valves of the water stop knob.ƑIs water output from theshower head properly? ƑFeed the hot water, and visuallycheck that water is dischargednormally from the showerhead,water is not leaking from the airbubble fixture, or the hot water isnot turbid.ƑIf hot water is not fed normally, clean the strainer(see pages 20 and 21) and the inside of theshowerhead. (See pages 18 and 19.)ƑIf water is leaking from the air bubble fixture orfrom the base of the showerhead, the internalgasket may be worn out. If replacement isrequired, contact your closest dealer.ƑIf the hot water is turbid, there is a possibility thatthe strainer of the check valve is contaminated.Clean the strainer. (See pages 20 and 21.)Inspection item Inspection method If the inspection results show defectsŶInspect the product every dayTo ensure that this product can be used for a long period of time, conduct the inspections below.Procedures for Daily InspectionsƑIs the plating of thewater stop knob andthe temperaturecontrol knob peeledoff?ƑVisually check the water stop knoband the temperature control knobfor flaws, cracks, or peeling of theplated surface.ƑFlaws, cracks, or peeling of the plated surfacemay result in injury of hand. If they exist,replacement of the knob is required. Contactyour closest dealer.ƑDuring operation or maintenance,check that there are no burrs orirregularities on the surface. |
