What should I do?Please connect the communication cable provided with the ThermoRecorder into the serial port of your computer (D-SUB 9 pin maleconnector). If for some reason you can not connect directly, please use anappropriate adapter (gender changer plug) as explained below.Examples of various serial ports:《D-SUB 25 pin female》《D-SUB 9 pin male》 《Half pitch 14 pin female》* If the connector on your computer is a D-SUB 9-pin male then there isno need for an adapter.* If the connector on your computer is a D-SUB 25 pin female then use anadapter(D-SUB 25 pin male to a D-SUB 9 pin male)* If the connector on your computer is a Half pitch 14 pin female thenuse the adapter (Half pitch 14 pin male to a D-SUB 9 pin male) or acombination (Half pitch 14 pin male to D-SUB 25 pin male) and (D-SUB25 pin female to a D-SUB 9 pin male).Q2: I can't download settings and / or data from the ThermoRecorder to my computer. What should I do?Check to make sure that the connection is proper. Communication willtake place only through the serial port (RS-232C) and will not workthrough the printer port or any other.Check to make sure that you can control the Thermo Recorder with thesoftware.Make sure that the serial port has been selected correctly in the[Communication] pull down menu in the software. Please check whichport you are connected to (COM1-COM9) and select appropriately.If you have access to another computer try to see if you can downloadusing it.
