Ifyou are playing with another instrument that cannot be tuned, youmay want to change this value, but typically there is no need.… Use the wheel to change the reference tuning away from 440 Hz if youneed to do this.Noise reductionWhen you are recording, the background noise of microphones, or the noisefrom guitar amplifiers, etc. may cause problems. The DP-01FX allows you to“gate” this noise, and only open the gate when the input signal goes over acertain level.
