If you scrollto the end of the factory preset list you will see theadditional choice: to restoreRestore all PresetsOnce you have made your selection, press Save to see:Are you sure? to confirmIMPORTANT NOTE: Restoring one or more factorypresets will permanently overwrite whatever presetsare currently in the corresponding preset locations. Ifyou want to save those presets, either copy them toa location which will not be overwritten or save themas a MIDI SysEx file using the MIDI Preset Dump pagedescribed above.If you have selected Restore all Presets, theprocess will take about 9 seconds and you will see thisscreen during the save process:Factory Presetsrestore in progress.If you have selected a single preset, the process is virtuallyinstantaneous.In either case, once the restore is completed, you will seethe following screen for a few seconds:Factory Presetsrestore completed.and then you will be returned to the initial Factory PresetRestore page.LCD Contrast PageªLCD contrast3The LCD Contrast parameter lets you set the maximumdisplay contrast for your viewing angle. Use the DataKnob to select the value that provides the greatestcontrast between the display text and the background.(The default setting is 4.)Save Preset PageªWhen you have created a new preset or made changes toan existing preset and want to save the changes, press theSAVE button to access this screen:Edit name & Name:Preset NameIf you have been editing an existing preset, the Name fieldwill contain the name of that preset. If you don’t wish tochange the name (e.g., if you are editing a preset and planto overwrite it with the edited version), simply press SAVEagain to be taken to the next screen.If you do wish to change the name, use the Cursor buttonsto move from character to character and the Data Knobto select the desired letter, number or punctuation markfor each character. When you are finished, press SAVE toaccess this screen: to overwrite:## Preset NameThe Preset number and Preset name will initially be thenumber and name of the original preset you were editing(i.e., the Preset Name will be the original name of thepreset). If you want to overwrite that preset with yournewly edited version, press SAVE. Otherwise, use theData Knob to select another preset location and thenpress SAVE. In either case you will see a brief messageconfirming that your preset was saved and will then bereturned to whichever screen you were on immediatelybefore initiating the Save process.NOTETo copy an existing preset to another location, first selectthe preset and press SAVE. Edit the name (if you wish)and press SAVE again. Select the location to copy to andpress SAVE again. You may now edit your copy withoutany risk of accidentally overwriting the original version.5 – Operation
