Your hearing aid’stelecoil option can help you listen in publicplaces equipped with telecoil compatibleassistive listening devices such as aloop system.When you see this symbol, a loopsystem is present and it is compatible withyour hearing aid. Please contact your hearinghealthcare professional for more informationon loop systems.Connecting to external audio sourcesYour hearing aids may have a direct audioinput (DAI) to connect to other audio sources,such as a stereo or television, using an FMsystem or a cable. The uDirect 3, an optionalwireless accessory, also has a DAI jack.When your hearing aids detect a DAI signal,they switch to your easy-DAI programautomatically. A short melody indicates thateasy-DAI is active. When you disconnect theDAI, your hearing aids return to the previousprogram automatically.Ask your hearing healthcare professionalfor information about the DAI system and aconnector cord.
