6 MULTI-PURPOSE CONTROL APPLICATION6.1 INTRODUCTIONSelect the Multi-purpose Control Application in menu M6 on page S6.2.The Multi-purpose Control application provides a wide range of parameters for controllingmotors. It can be used for various kinds of different processes, where wide flexibility of I/Osignals is needed and PID control is not necessary (if you need PID control functions, use thePID Control Application or Pump and Fan Control Application).The frequency reference can be selected e.g. from the analogue inputs, joystick control,motor potentiometer and from a mathematical function of the analogue inputs. There areparameters also for Fieldbus communication.
