6 Electrical installation32 Installation and maintenance instructions Hydraulic station 0020257319_026.11 Carrying out the wiringDanger!Risk of death from electric shock!Continuous voltage is present at power sup-ply terminals L1, L2, L3 and N:▶ Switch off the power supply.▶ Check that there is no voltage.▶ Secure the power supply against beingswitched back on.Danger!Risk of injury and material damagecaused by incorrect installation.Mains voltage at incorrect terminals and plugterminals may destroy the electronics.▶ Ensure that the mains voltage is correctlydisconnected from the safety extra-lowvoltage.▶ Do not connect any mains voltage to ter-minals BUS, S20, S21, X41.▶ Only connect the power supply cable tothe terminals that are marked for the pur-pose.NoteThere is a safety extra-low voltage (SELV) at con-nections S20 and S21.NoteIf the energy supply company lockout function isused, connect a potential-free normally open con-tact with a breaking capacity of 24 V/0.1 A to con-nection S21. You must configure how the connec-tion works in the system control. (For example, ifthe contact is closed, the electric back-up heateris blocked.)1. Route the sensor and bus lines into the product throughthe rear of the product (→ Page 28).NoteThe cables must fit through the correspond-ing grommet.2. At lengths of 10 m or more, mains voltage connectioncables must be laid separately from sensor or bus lines.Minimum clearance for the extra low-voltage wire andpower supply cable at a line length of > 10 m: 25 cm. Ifthis is not possible, use shielded lines. Lay the shieldingon one side of the sheet for the product's electronicsbox.3. Shorten the connection cables according to require-ments.30 mm≤4. To prevent short circuits if a strand accidentally comesloose, only strip the outer sheathing of flexible lines to amaximum of 30 mm.5. Ensure the inner conductor insulation is not damagedwhen stripping the outer sheathing.6. Only strip inner conductors just enough to establishgood, sound connections.7. To avoid short circuits resulting from loose individualwires, fit conductor end sleeves on the stripped ends ofthe conductors.8. Screw the respective plug to the connection cable.9. Check whether all conductors are inserted mechanicallysecurely in the terminals of the plug. Remedy this ifnecessary.10. Plug the plug into the associated PCB slot.111. Use the strain reliefs (1).6.12 Connecting the circulation pump1. Carry out the wiring. (→ Page 32)2. Route the 230 V connection cable for the circulationpump from the right and into the control PCB's electron-ics box.3. Connect the 230 V connection cable to the plug fromslot X11 on the control PCB and plug it into the slot.4. Connect the connection cable for the external buttonusing terminals 1 (0) and 6 (functional drawing) on theX41 edge connector, which is supplied with the control.5. Plug the edge connector into slot X41 on the controlPCB.6.13 Actuating a circulation pump with an eBUScontroller1. Ensure that the circulation pump is correctly paramet-rised in the system control.2. Select a hot water programme (preparation).3. Parametrise a circulation programme in the systemcontrol.◁ The pump runs during the time period specified inthe programme.
