Operation 40020257319_02 Hydraulic station Operating instructions 7NotePath details at the start of a section specify how toaccess this function, e.g. Menu ¬ Information ¬Contact data.4.4 Starting up the product4.4.1 Opening the isolator devices1. Ask the competent person who installed the product toexplain to you where these isolator devices are locatedand how to handle them.2. If installed, open the service valves in the heating in-stallation's flow and return.3. Open the cold-water isolation valve.4.4.2 Switching on the productNoteThe product does not have an on/off switch. Theproduct is switched on and ready for operation assoon as it is connected to the power grid.1. Ensure that the product casing is properly installed.2. Use the partition that is installed on-site (e.g. fuses orpower switches) to switch on the product.◁ The "basic display" appears in the product's operat-ing display.◁ The basic display appears on the system controldisplay.4.4.3 Adjusting the target cylinder temperatureDanger!Risk of death from legionella.Legionella multiply at temperatures below60 °C.▶ Have a competent person inform youabout the measures that should be takento protect against Legionella in your in-stallation.▶ Do not set any water temperatures below60 °C without consulting the competentperson first.Danger!Risk of death from legionella! If you decrease the cylinder temperature, therisk of legionella spreading increases.▶ Activate the anti-legionella times in thesystem control and set them.In order to achieve energy-efficient domestic hot water gen-eration predominantly from the energy extracted from theenvironment, the factory setting for the desired domestic hotwater temperature must be adjusted on the system control.▶ To do this, adjust the target cylinder temperature (De-sired DHW circuit temperature) to between 50 and55 °C.◁ Depending on the source of energy obtained from theenvironment, domestic hot water outlet temperaturesof between 50 and 55 °C are reached.4.4.4 Yield indicatorYou can use this function to display the environmentalenergy yield as a cumulative value for a period of a day,a month and the total for the heating, domestic hot watergeneration and cooling modes. You can displays the working figure for a period of a monthand the total for the heating and domestic hot water genera-tion modes. The working figure is the ratio of thermal energygenerated to the operating current used. Monthly values mayvary considerably since, for example, in the summer onlydomestic hot water generation is used. A large number offactors influence this estimate, e.g. the type of heating in-stallation (direct heating mode = low flow temperature or in-direct heating mode via buffer cylinder = high flow temperat-ure). This figure may therefore deviate by up to 20%.The working figures only record the power consumption ofinternal components, not of external components such asexternal heating circuit pumps, valves, etc.4.4.5 Displaying the Live MonitorMenu → Live MonitorYou can use the Live Monitor to view the current status ofthe product.4.4.6 Displaying the building circuit pressureMenu → Live Monitor→ Building circuit pressureYou can use this function to display the current filling pres-sure in the heating installation.4.4.7 Reading the operating statisticsMenu → Information → Heating op. hoursMenu → Information → DHW operating hoursMenu → Information → Cooling op. hoursMenu → Information → Total operating hoursYou can use this function to display the operating hoursfor heating mode, for domestic hot water mode, for coolingmode and for overall operation.4.4.8 Setting the language1. Select OK twice to confirm the set language.2. If you want to set another language, press and holdand at the same time.3. Also press the reset button for a short time.4. Press and hold and until the display shows thelanguage setting.5. Select the required language by pressing or .6. Press (OK) to confirm your selection.7.
