INSTALLER GUIDEPage 436. Remove the two fixing screws that attach thegenerator unit to the support bracket. The ignitergenerator can now be removed (See figure 46)7. Remove the two leads to the switch and removethe spark lead. If necessary, mark them to ensure thatthey are replaced on to the correct terminals.8. Replace the generator9. Refit in the reverse order.16.12 To remove the complete burner unit.1. Remove the window frame and window assemblyas in section 16.7.2. Remove the ceramic fuel effect as in section 16.93. Close the isolating valve in the inlet ‘T’ connector.Support the inlet ‘T’ connector to avoid straining thepipework and disconnect the appliance from the ‘T’connector.4. Detach the burner unit from the convection box byremoving two screws (See figure 47).5. Replace in the reverse order.16.13 To remove thethermocouple interrupter block(See figure 39).1. Remove the burner unit (Seesection 16.12).2. Detach the thermocouple fromthe interrupter block byunscrewing the thermocouple nut.3. Detach the two microswitchleads from the interrupter block.4. Remove the interrupter block byunscrewing from the gas shut-offtap.5. Refit in the reverse order. If the microswitch leads cannot be easily attached to theinterrupter block when it is fully tightened to the gas shut-off tap, slacken it and rotateto allow the leads to be fitted. Retighten making sure that the leads remain in place inthe interrupter block.
