Thisconsiderably improves the drivingstability of the vehicle on slippery roadsurfaces.TC is operational as soon as thecontrol indicator b extinguishes.When TC is active b flashes.9 WarningDo not let this special safetyfeature tempt you into taking riskswhen driving.Adapt speed to the roadconditions.Control indicator b 3 70.DeactivationTC can be switched off when spinningof drive wheels is required: Press bbutton on the overhead console.Control indicator k illuminates and amessage in the Driver InformationCentre (DIC) is displayed.TC is reactivated by pressing the bbutton again.TC is also reactivated the next timethe ignition is switched on.FaultIf there is a problem detected with TC,a message is displayed on the DIC.When this message is displayed andb illuminates, the vehicle is safe todrive but the system is notoperational. Driving should beadjusted accordingly.ResettingIf b comes on and stays on, reset thesystem as follows:1. Stop the vehicle.2. Switch off the ignition and wait for15 seconds.3. Switch on the ignition.If b still comes on and stays on, seekthe assistance of a workshop.
