These discs can get jammedin the CD drive and ruin the player.Replacement of the device willthen be necessary.■ The following CD formats can beused:CD-ROM Mode 1 and Mode 2.CD-ROM XA Mode 2, Form 1 andForm 2.■ The following file formats can beused:ISO9660 Level 1, Level 2, (Romeo,Joliet).MP3 and WMA files written in anyformat other than listed above maynot play correctly, and their filenames and folder names may notbe displayed correctly.NoteISO 13346 is not supported. It maybe required to manually select ISO9660 when burning an audio CD asexample with Windows 7.■ Audio CDs with copy protection,which are not in compliance withthe audio CD standard, may notplay correctly or not at all.■ Self-recorded CD-Rs and CD-RWsare more vulnerable to mishandlingthan prerecorded CDs. Correcthandling, especially in the case ofself-recorded CD-Rs and CD-RWs,must be ensured. See below.■ Self-recorded CD-Rs and CD-RWsmay not play correctly or not at all.In such cases it is not theequipment that is at fault.
