508 Diagnosis, asset management and serviceVEGABAR 82 • Slave sensor for electronic differential pressure48046-EN-1903202. Remove the O-ring seal for the process fitting3. Clean the diaphragm with brass brush and cleaning detergent4. Loosen the hexagon and remove the process component fromthe process fitting5. Remove the form seal for the measuring cell and remove it by anew one6. Screw the process component into the process fitting, tighten thehexagon (wrench size see chapter "Dimensions", max. torque seechapter "Technical data")7. Insert new O-ring seal for the process fitting8. Install the process pressure transmitter in the welded socket,tighten compression nutThe cleaning is finished.The pressure transmitter is directly ready for operation, a fresh adjust-ment is not required.8.3 Rectify faultsThe operator of the system is responsible for taking suitable meas-ures to rectify faults.The first measures are:• Evaluation of fault messages• Checking the output signal• Treatment of measurement errorsA smartphone/tablet with the VEGA Tools app or a PC/notebook withthe software PACTware and the suitable DTM offer you further com-prehensive diagnostic possibilities. In many cases, the causes can bedetermined in this way and the faults eliminated.Depending on the reason for the fault and the measures taken, thesteps described in chapter "Setup" must be carried out again or mustbe checked for plausibility and completeness.Should these measures not be successful, please call in urgent casesthe VEGA service hotline under the phone no. +49 1805 858550.The hotline is also available outside normal working hours, sevendays a week around the clock.Since we offer this service worldwide, the support is provided inEnglish.
