If you are unsure of a material’scompatibility with aluminum, contact your coating’ssupplier.HAZARD: GENERALThis product can cause severe injury or propertydamage.PREVENTION:• Read all instructions and safety precautions beforeoperating equipment.• Follow all appropriate local, state, and national codesgoverning ventilation, fire prevention, and operation.• Pulling the trigger causes a recoil force to the handthat is holding the spray gun. The recoil force of thespray gun is particularly powerful when the tip hasbeen removed and a high pressure has been set onthe airless pump. When cleaning without a spray tip,set the pressure control knob to the lowest pressure.• Use only manufacturer authorized parts. Userassumes all risks and liabilities when using parts thatdo not meet the minimum specifications and safetydevices of the pump manufacturer.• Before each use, check all hoses for cuts, leaks,abrasion or bulging of cover. Check for damage ormovement of couplings. Immediately replace the hoseif any of these conditions exist. Never repair a painthose. Replace it with another earthed high-pressurehose.• Make sure power cord, air hose and spray hoses arerouted in such a manner to minimize slip, trip and fallhazard.• Clean up all material and solvent spills immediately toprevent slip hazard.• ALWAYS follow the material manufacturer’sinstructions for safe handling of paint and solvents.• Do not use this unit in workshops that are coveredunder the explosion prevention regulations.• Always unplug cord from outlet before working onequipment (electric units only).• Always keep the power cord plug in sight during usageto prevent any accidental shutdown or startup.• If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced bythe manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualifiedpersons in order to avoid a hazard.• Wear ear protection. This unit can produce noiselevels above 85 dB(A).• This equipment is designed to operate at highpressures and recoil forces may occur. Under certaincircumstances, such forces could result in repetitivestrain injury.• Never leave this equipment unattended. Vapors can cause severe nausea, fainting, orpoisoning.PREVENTION:• Use a respirator or mask if vapors can be inhaled.Read all instructions supplied with the mask to be sureit will provide the necessary protection.• Wear protective eyewear.• Wear protective clothing as required by coatingmanufacturer.1.1 Earthing InstructionsPEElectric models must be earthed. In the event of anelectrical short circuit, earthing reduces the risk of electricshock by providing an escape wire for the electric current.This product is equipped with a cord having an earthingwire with an appropriate earthing plug. The plug must beplugged into an outlet that is properly installed and earthedin accordance with all local codes and ordinances.DANGER — Improper installation of the earthing plugcan result in a risk of electric shock. If repair orreplacement of the cord or plug is necessary, do notconnect the green earthing wire to either bladeterminal. The wire with insulation having a green outersurface with or without yellow stripes is the earthingwire and must be connected to the earthing pin.Check with a qualified electrician or serviceman if the earthinginstructions are not completely understood, or if you are in doubt as towhether the product is properly earthed. Do not modify the plug provided.If the plug will not fit the outlet, have the proper outlet installed by aqualified electrician.Work or repairs at the electrical equipment:These may only be carried out by a skilled electrician.
