6SAFETY PRECAUTIONS ProSpray 202.17 CLEANING THE UNITWhen cleaning the gun, only rinse when the nozzle is remo-ved and rinse at low pressure.When cleaning the unit with solvents, thesolvent should never be sprayed or pumpedback into a container with a small opening(bunghole). An explosive gas/air mixture canarise. Only use an earthed container madefrom metal. To earth the gun, hold it firmly onthe edge of the container.Danger of short-circuits caused by water in-gression!Never spray down the unit with high-pres-sure or high-pressure steam cleaners.2.18 WORK OR REPAIRS AT THE ELECTRICALEQUIPMENTThese may only be carried out by a skilled electrician. No lia-bility is assumed for incorrect installation. Unplug the powerplug from the outlet before carrying out any repair work.2.19 MAINTENANCE WORK AND BREAKSBefore carrying out any work on the device and duringany work break, release the pressure in the spray gun andhigh-pressure hose. Secure the spray gun’s trigger guard andswitch off the device.2.20 SETUP ON AN UNEVEN SURFACEThe front end must always point downwards in order to avoidsliding away.If possible do not use the unit on an inclined surface since theunit tends to wander through the resulting vibrations.
