Charge or replacebatteryEngine runs erratically • Dirty air cleaner• No fuel• Dirty engine• Drum is obstructed• Clean air filter• Check fuel level. Open fuelvalve• Remove deposits built-up inengine• Remove drum obstructionDrum does not rotate • Hydrostatic transmissionnot engaged• Drive belt loose or broken• Hydrostatic transmissionfaulty• Control linkage discon-nected or broken• Shaft keys sheared• Flex coupling damaged orslipping• Check/repair hydrostatictransmission release valveand camshaft• Tighten or replace belt• Check transmission oillevel.
