Operating Instructions41The following list of items should be checked if a pat-tern of clogging begins to develop. All of these itemsare capable of causing clogging.• Check that the inside of the snowblower housingis clean and free of snow and/or ice buildup.• Check that the auger is in good condition and notbent, both the auger flighting and the center pad-dles.• Check the inside of the blower spout for smooth-ness and freedom of obstruction.Remember, anything that restricts airflow or materi-al flow along the entire path from the auger to theblower spout can cause clogging.DEBRIS BLOWER CONTROLSChute Rotation HandleThe chute rotation handle is located on the rear ofthe debris blower, on the upper RH side of the im-peller housing. The chute rotates in a 230 degreearc, by cranking the rotation handle. Turning thehandle clockwise rotates the chute clockwise.Turning the handle counterclockwise rotates thechute counterclockwise.Chute Rotation HandleDeflector Position Control KnobSet the angle of the deflector according to the dis-tance the debris must be thrown. To adjust the de-flector angle, loosen the knob on the RH side of thedeflector, slide the deflector to the required angle,and securely retighten the knob.Deflector Position Control KnobDEBRIS BLOWER OPERATIONRaising and Lowering the Debris BlowerRefer to Implement Lift Switch in this section.DANGERDO NOT attempt to unclog the snowblow-er or make any adjustments with the trac-tor engine running.
