Flush and clean all system pipingand process equipment separately. This willeliminate any foreign material which could haveaccumulated during installation. Plant workerswill also become familiar with pump parts.FINAL PUMP CHECKAfter connecting the piping to pump:• Rotate shaft several times by hand tobe sure that there is no binding and allparts are free.• Check alignment to determine ab-sence of pipe strain.
