The appliance must be isolated from the gas supplypiping system by closing its individual manual shutoff valve during any pressure testing of the gas supply system at testpressures equal to or less than 1/2 psi.The incoming gas supply pressure must not exceed 1/2 psi (14 inches WC). If the incoming gas pressure exceeds 1/2psi, an external gas regulator must be installed in the supply line.
