82 Chapter 3 Printer Setup3.7 System Settings Setup (Printer ControlPanel, 6050A)The following system parameters can be set up from the printer control panel.• Refer to "2.2 Printer Control Panel Usage" for detailed instructions on printercontrol panel operations.Menu Item DescriptionTCP/IP Allows the entering of an IP Address, IP Subnet Maskand an IP Gateway address. Also allows DHCP andRARP/BOOTP to be enabled or disabled.Date/Time Sets up the internal clock. The parameters are set inthe order year, month, day, hour, and minutes.Timers This encompasses both low power mode and sleepmode.Low power mode sets the time (15-240 minutes) thatmust elapse following a print job before the machineenters low power mode, reducing the temperature ofthe fuser and decreasing power consumption.The default setting is [15] minutes.The sleep mode sets the time (15-240 minutes) thatmust elapse following a print job until the machineenters the sleep mode; switching off power to theprinter.The default setting is [55] minutes.
