231.10 Loading Media for Manual Feeding1.10 Loading Media for Manual Feeding1 Adjust the (MSI) Multi Sheet Inserter/Manual Feed Unit's side guides to fit thesize of the media that is to be printed.2 Place the side of the media to be printedface up, and align it with the (MSI) MultiSheet Inserter/Manual Feed Unit's sideguides.3 Push the front edge of the media as far intothe machine as it will go. You will hear thesound of a motor as the machine lifts themedia to the feed position.4 Make the required media settings on the copier control panel.Set the correct media series for themanual feed sheet.• The optional (MSI) Multi SheetInserter/Manual Feed Unit isrequired when making manually fedcopies.• Standard paper having a width of297 to 914 mm and a length of 210to 2,000 mm can be used with the(MSI) Multi Sheet Inserter/ManualFeed Unit.Two or more sheets of A3 (horizontalfeed) and A4 (horizontal/vertical feed)size paper can be placed in the MSI.Paper sizes other than A3 (horizontalfeed) and A4 (horizontal/vertical feed)sizes must be inserted one sheet at atime.Only Bond paper can be used in the(MSI) Multi Sheet Inserter/ManualFeed Unit.
