8-2 0 System GuideTroubleshootingEjecting a CD/DVD on a Print Server stationIf pressing the eject button on the front of the CD/DVD-ROM drivedoes not eject the disc, then use the following procedure:1. Select [System - Eject CD/DVD].a. If the CD/DVD ejects, remove the CD/DVD and close thedrive.b. If the CD/DVD still does not eject, continue to the nextstep.2. Select [Setup] and then [System Configuration]. The SystemConfiguration window displays.3. Select the Peripherals tab.4. Right-click on the drive entitled “CD-RW 0/DVD-RW 0.”5. From the right-click menu, select [Eject/Unload]. Thisdismounts the disc, and protects the platform from damagecaused by attempting to eject the media manually.6. Select [OK] to close the “Removable Media Manager” window.7. Now use the disc drive [Eject] button to eject the disc.Remote ServicesThe Xerox FreeFlow Print Server family provides a host of remoteservices via Print Server Remote Services Software. There areseveral key components to this service suite along with futurecapabilities:• Problem Reporting allows administrators to send problem datato Xerox Service teams for analysis. This service can also beextended to provide analysis of problems over time to help thecustomer optimize system use.• Service Requests allow Xerox service personnel to proactivelypush automated actions that the Xerox devices would performto optimize the customer’s system.• Support Access will enable customers to collaborate inproblem solving and share desktops with Xerox Service andSupport teams. This would occur in real time by enabling anobserve/control view of the system.• Billing (future capability) will enable Xerox to manage systemmeter reads in a consistent and timely manner.NOTE: Refer to the Remote Services Installation Guide for moreinformation.
