XES Synergix 8825/8830/8850/8855 & X2-TECH System Introduction 28855 System ComponentsThe 8855 Product is available in two configurations with the AccXESController. The first configuration is comprised of the XES Synergix 8855Engineering Printer and an AccXES Controller. The second configuration,known as the Digital Solution, combines the XES Synergix 8855 EngineeringPrinter with the Synergix Scan System and the AccXES Controller.The XES Synergix 8855 Engineering Printer features a monochrome, 400dpi, LED, Xerographic print engine, which supports a monthly usage rangingfrom 17,000 linear feet (45,000 square feet) to 94,000 linear feet (250,000square feet) of printed media. It supports 4 rolls of media in your choice ofBond, Film, or Vellum. Each media roll may be from 11" (279 mm) to 36"(914 mm) wide, with a core diameter of 3" and an outer diameter of up to6.7", providing a printable surface of up to 500 feet (152 meters) in length. Inaddition, a convenient, built-in manual bypass supports cut sheet media of8.5" x 11" (216 x 279 mm) up to 36" x 48" (914 x 1219 mm) in size. Therated output speed of the printer is 6.3 inches per second with a maximumsingle plot length of 6 or 16 meters (19.7 or 52.5 feet) depending upon yourinstallation configuration. For more advanced finishing needs, your printercan be equipped with a programmable On-line Folder, or Xerox Stackerwith print-stacking capabilities of up to 500 E size prints or copies.The AccXES Controller provides multiple port connectivity and multiple dataformat recognition. The Controller maximizes the capabilities of the printer byincorporating a number of web pages within its firmware, allowing you tocontrol the print queue and printer operating parameters from a web browserinstalled on your workstation. The web pages in the Controller are collectivelyknown as the Web Printer Manager Tool (Web PMT). Additionally, a numberof print drivers, as well as the AccXES Client Tool’s Document Submitfeature, enable you to easily print from a wide variety of applications andplatforms.The 8855 Digital Digital Solution combines the XES Synergix 8855Engineering Printer with the Synergix Scan System, AccXES Controller,and the Scanner Control Panel mounted on top of the Scanner.Engineering documents up to 36 inches (914 mm) wide and 19.7 or 52.5 feet(6 or 16 meters) long (depending upon your installation configuration) can bedigitally scanned and printed, or scanned to and retrieved from electronic filesstored on the system’s Hard Drive.Using supplied Application Print Drivers, the AccXES Client Tools, andWeb Printer Manager Tool, scanned documents may be previewed,retrieved, printed, and managed from remote desktops. Media usage canalso be monitored by using assigned account numbers when scanning orprinting documents.An optional PostScript Data Format Interpreter is also available.Effective with Firmware release 7.0, new features include Scan-to-PDF,adjustable Job Priority on Pre and Post-rendered Jobs in queue, andController Support for externally-tracked Accounting of printing, copying, andscanning activities.Effective with Firmware Release 7.5, a new Color Enablement feature key isavailable enabling Scanning-to-Net in color in TIFF and JPEG formats.
