Fordetails, see Consumables on page 207.The imaging unit is defective. If the defect occurs in one color only,replace the corresponding imagingunit.Debris in the printer is draggingagainst the toner before thetoner is fused.Remove any paper or debris from thepaper path.Streaks in multiple colors There is debris in the transfer beltunit.Inspect and clean or replace thetransfer belt unit.Offset image Image is printed a second time. • Verify that the paper you are usingis the correct type for the printerand is loaded properly. For details,see Supported Paper on page 54.• Verify that the paper loaded in thetray matches the paper typeselected at the control panel and inthe print driver.To verify paper type at the controlpanel, press Machine Status, thentouch Machine Information > PaperTray Status.Note: If the problem continues, selectthe next lighter paper type.• For uncoated paper, the papersfrom lightest to heaviest are Plain,Lightweight Cardstock, andCardstock.• For coated paper, the papers fromlighter to heavier are LightweightGlossy Cardstock and GlossyCardstock.
