Disassembly1. Turn OFF the power supply of the YRC1000.2. Support and fix the L-arm and the upper part of the manipulator tokeep the L-arm from falling off or rotating.3. Remove the balancer. (Refer to chapter 10 “Disassembly andReassembly of Balancer Unit” .)4. Remove the L-axis motor . (Refer to chapter 6.2 “Disassembly andReassembly of the L-Axis Motor” .)5. Unscrew the hexagon socket head cap screws , and insert the studbolt M10 (length: 40 mm or more) into the tapped hole M10 (2 places)on the L-arm . Screw the stud bolt into the tapped hole untilclearance is made between the contact surface of the L-arm andthe speed reducer .6. Remove the L-arm from the speed reducer .7. Unscrew the hexagon socket head cap screws , and insert the studbolt M8 (length: 35 mm or more) into the tapped hole M8 (2 places) onthe speed reducer . Screw the stud bolt into the tapped hole untilthe clearance is made between the contact surface of the S-head andthe speed reducer .8. Mount the eyebolts diagonally on the tapped hole M16 (2 places) onthe speed reducer . Remove the speed reducer horizontally byusing the eyebolts. At this time, remove the O-ring .NOTE Refer to chapter 10 “Disassembly and Reassembly of Bal-ancer Unit” .DANGERWhen removing the balancer, confirm that the L-arm is firmly fixed withthe chain block, etc.Failure to observe this caution may cause a hazardous condition due torotating the L-arm.625515 14111 1368/134
