2.5 Counter Function Details3922.5.4 Calculating PresetThis function forcibly resets the counter count value to the value specificied in the Count Preset Data (OL+2).The counter value is reset to the preset value when the the signal of the bit 2 (Calculating Preset) of the OperationMode OW+00 of the Setting Output Data is input (detection at the signal rising edge). When the value is resetto the preset value, the bit 2 (Preset Count Completed) of the Status (IW+00) of the In Data turns ON. An operation example of the Calculating Preset function is given in 2.3.1 Reversible Counter on page 26. When using the ring counter function, set the calculating preset data to a value between 0 and the value “POSMAX-1”.The following diagram shows the count preset completion timing of the CNTR-01 Module.Reversible Interval Frequency MeasurementCalculating PresetPreset CountCompletedm1 m2 m3 m4m1m2m3m4m2̉Calculating Preset(Count Preset Request)(OW Bit 1)Preset Count Completed(IW Bit 2)Counter count registervalueCurrent Count Value AfterConverts(IL + 00A)Count Preset Completed: ONCount PresetData that reflectscount preset valueScan cycle TsCount Preset Request: ON
