Be sure that Break-in is “Off” with [BK-IN] on theLCD, if necessary.3. Touch [MEM] on the LCD or press the FH-2 [MEM]key. A blinking “REC” icon will appear in the dis-play.4. Touch [CH1] - [CH5] on the LCD or press an FH-2[1] - [5] key to select the desired CW Memory Reg-ister into which you wish to program the text. Thetext input screen will appear.5. Touch a key on the LCD to enter the letters, num-bers, or symbols of the desired label.6. Repeat step 5 to program the remaining letters, num-bers, or symbols of the desired text. 12 charactersmay be used in the creation of a text.Use [] and [] on the LCD to set the cursor posi-tion and [ ] on the LCD to erase a letter at the leftof the cursor.7. When you have completed the creation of the text,touch [ENT] on the LCD.A dvice :Use the FH-2 [] and [] keys to set the cursor posi-tion and use the FH-2’s [] and [] keys to choosethe letter/number to be programmed in each slot of thememory. In the case of the second example on the previ-ous page the “#” character designates the slot where theContest Number will appear.8. When the message is complete, add the “}” characterat the end to signify the termination of the message.9. Touch [MEM] on the LCD or press and hold in theFH-2 [MEM] key for one second to exit, once allcharacters (including “}”) have been programmed.checking the cW MeMory contentS1.
