Remove the drive shaft assembly andpinion, and then pull out the forwardgear.Disassembling the drive shaft1. Install the pinion nut , tighten it fingertight, and then remove the drive shaftbearing using a press.CAUTION:• Do not press the drive shaft threadsdirectly.Do not reuse the bearing, alwaysreplace it with a new one.Disassembling the forward gear1. Remove the taper roller bearing from theforward gear using a press.CAUTION:Do not reuse the bearing, always replaceit with a new one.2.
