Tilt the outboard motor up, and then re-move the trim rod from the clamp brack-et.3. Reposition the rod in the desired hole.To raise the bow (“trim-out”), move the rodaway from the transom.To lower the bow (“trim-in”), move the rod to-ward the transom.Make test runs with the trim set to differentangles to find the position that works best foryour boat and operating conditions.WARNINGEWM00400● Stop the engine before adjusting thetrim angle.● Use care to avoid being pinched whenremoving or installing the rod.● Use caution when trying a trim positionfor the first time.
