Al-ways clean up spilled fluidimmediately. As the brake pads wear, it is nor-mal for the brake fluid level to grad-ually go down. However, if thebrake fluid level goes down sud-denly, have a Yamaha dealercheck the cause.EAU22750Changing the brake andclutch fluidsHave a Yamaha dealer change thebrake and clutch fluids at the intervalsspecified in the NOTE after the periodicmaintenance and lubrication chart. Inaddition, have the oil seals of the brakeand clutch master cylinders and cali-pers as well as the brake and clutchhoses replaced at the intervals listedbelow or whenever they are damagedor leaking. Oil seals: Replace every twoyears.
