23 EnFM/AM TUNINGBASICOPERATIONYou can manually register up to 40 FM/AM stations(40 total). You can then easily recall any preset station byselecting its preset number.1 Tune in to the desired FM/AM station.See pages 20 and 21 for tuning instructions.2 Press MEMORY on the front panel.“MANUAL PRESET” is displayed briefly on thefront panel display, and then the preset number towhich the station will be registered is displayed.yBy holding down MEMORY on the front panel for more than2 seconds, you can skip the following steps and automaticallyregister the selected station to an empty preset number (i.e., thepreset number following the last preset number used).3 Press PRESET j / i on the front panel (orPRESET F / G on the remote control) toselect the preset number to which the stationwill be registered.When you select a preset number to which no stationis registered, “EMPTY” is displayed.
