31 EnLISTENING TO SIRIUS Satellite Radio™BASICOPERATION2 Press MEMORY on the front panel.The indicator on the front panel display changes asfollows.y• By holding down MEMORY on the front panel for more than2 seconds, you can skip the following steps and automaticallyregister the selected channel to an empty preset number (i.e., thepreset number following the last preset number used).• To cancel registration, press RETURN on the remote control ordo not perform any operations for about 30 seconds.3 Press PRESET j / i on the front panel (orPRESET F / G on the remote control) toselect preset number.y• You can also select a preset number using the numeric buttonson the remote control.• If you select a preset number that is being used (i.e., if thecurrently registered channel number is displayed next to thepreset number), the current preset will be overwritten.4 Press MEMORY on the front panel.■ Recalling a preset channel (PresetSearch mode)You can recall preset channels by specifying their presetnumbers.1 Press PRESET j / i on the front panel (orPRESET F / G on the remote control)repeatedly to change the preset number(1 to 40).Currently registered channel number(or “---” if empty)Channel number to beregisteredPreset number to which newchannel number is registered PRESET j / iPRESET F / G
