5-6ESU03824Fuel meter and grip/thumb warmer level indicatorThe fuel meter and grip/thumb warmer level indicatorhave eight segments 1 which show the amount of fuelremaining in the fuel tank, the grip warmer level, or thethumb warmer level.Fuel meterAs the fuel level decreases in the fuel tank, the segmentsdisappear until the level goes down to the last segment“E” (Empty). When this occurs, the fuel level warningindicator 2 and the warning light 3 come on.If the fuel level warning indicator and the warning lightcome on, fill the fuel tank at the first opportunity.NOTE:@The snowmobile must be stopped on a level surface toobtain an accurate fuel meter reading, since the readingchanges according to the movement and inclination ofthe snowmobile.@Grip/thumb warmer level indicatorThe grip warmer adjustment switch 1 and the thumbwarmer adjustment switch 2 control the electricallyheated handlebar grips and throttle lever respectively.To raise the temperature, press the respective switch to“HI”. To lower the temperature, press the switch to “LO”.NOTE:@ The grip warmer indicator 3 comes on and the dis-play switches to the grip warmer level when the gripwarmer adjustment switch is pressed. The thumb warmer indicator 4 comes on and thedisplay switches to the thumb warmer level when thethumb warmer adjustment switch is pressed. The grip/thumb warmer level is displayed for 5 secondsafter releasing the grip/thumb warmer adjustmentswitch, then the display switches to the fuel meter. The top segment of the grip/thumb warmer level indi-cator flashes once when the grip/thumb warmeradjustment reaches the maximum level. The bottomsegment of the grip/thumb warmer level indicatorflashes once when the grip/thumb warmer adjust-ment reaches the minimum level.
