If the oil lev-el detection circuit is defective, thefollowing cycle will be repeated un-til the malfunction is corrected: Theoil level warning light will flash tentimes, then go off for 2.5 seconds.If this occurs, have a Yamahadealer check the vehicle.EAU11361Fuel level warning light “ ”This warning light comes on when thefuel level drops below approximately3.2 L (0.85 US gal) (0.70 Imp.gal).When this occurs, refuel as soon aspossible.The electrical circuit of the warning lightcan be checked by turning the key to“ON”.If the warning light does not come onfor a few seconds, and then go off,have a Yamaha dealer check the elec-trical circuit.NOTE:This model is also equipped with a self-diagnosis device for the fuel level de-tection circuit. If the fuel level detectioncircuit is defective, the following cyclewill be repeated until the malfunction iscorrected: The fuel level warning lightwill flash eight times, and then go off for3.0 seconds. If this occurs, have aYamaha dealer check the vehicle.EAU11423Coolant temperature warning light“ ”This warning light comes on when theengine overheats. When this occurs,stop the engine immediately and allowthe engine to cool.The electrical circuit of the warning lightcan be checked by turning the key to“ON”.If the warning light does not come onfor a few seconds, then go off, have aYamaha dealer check the electrical cir-cuit.CAUTION:ECA10020Do not operate the engine if it isoverheated. |
