9Converting To Side DischargeIf your unit is equipped with a side discharge chute, youcan convert to a side discharge mower as follows:• Lift the rear discharge door and install the mulchingbaffle. See Figure 6.• On the side of the mower, lift the mulching plug.See Figure 8.• Slide the two hooks of the side discharge chuteunder the hinge pin on the mulching plug assemblyas shown in Figure 8.
