39Replacing the Fuel FilterThe fuel filter is located with the priming pump.Replace the fuel filter every 800 hours (once perseason) or more regularly if it becomes clogged.Replace the filter as follows:Unscrew fuel filter from pump and replace.Every 50 hours check for water in the fuel filter.Empty if necessary. Refer to the engine manual.Checking Tire PressuresAll four tires shall have a pressure of 16 PSI.Check and Filling Coolant SystemNOTE: Failure to follow the recommendedprocedure for filling the cooling system will causeengine overheating and possible engine failure.ALWAYS check coolant level at the overflowreservoir. The correct level of coolant in the overflow tank does NOT assure the radiator is full.It is extremely important that when antifreeze isused, that it be mixed with water in a separatecontainer before adding. NEVER add straightantifreeze to the radiator. Recommended mix is50/50 lowtox (propylene glycol) phosphate-freeantifreeze with tap water. DO NOT mix in ethyleneglycol. Refer to engine operator’s manual. The radiator for this cooling system is providedwith two drain valves; one at each end of the lowertank. When draining the system, it is necessary toopen both these valves to drain the radiatorcompletely.MAINTENANCEBAM-18WARNING!ALWAYS make sure the engine isstopped and cool before remov-ing radiator pressure cap. To pre-vent scalding by hot fulid, NEVERremove the radiator cap whileengine is hot.PRIMING PUMPFuel filter and fuel pump8011-564Tire presssuresBAM-19RadiatorAdd coolant to the radiator until it is up to the bottomof the fill cap.
