Customizing Your Phone31To view the directory via phone user interface:1. Press the Dir soft key when the phone is idle.The LCD screen displays the list(s) in the directory.If there is only one list in the directory, press the Dir soft key to enter this list directly.The built-in phone directory can store the names and phone numbers of your contacts.You can store up to 1000 contacts and 5 groups in your phone's local directory. You canadd new groups and contacts, edit, delete or search for a contact, or simply dial acontact number from the local directory.To add a group to the local directory:1. Press the Dir soft key.The IP phone enters the local directory directly as there is only Local Directoryenabled in the directory by default.If Local Directory is removed from the directory, press Menu->Dir->Local Directoryto enter the local directory.2. Press the Add soft key.3. Enter the desired group name in the Name field.
