Basic Call Features111designated as phone C. The user dials the call park retrieve code to retrieve theparked call.The system establishes call between phone C and B.NoteYou can use call pickup to answer someone else’s incoming call on the phone. TheSIP-T46G IP phone supports directed call pickup and group call pickup. Directed callpickup is used for picking up a call that is ringing at a specific phone number. Group callpickup is used for picking up a call that is ringing at any phone number in the group. Thepickup group should be predefined, contact your system administrator for moreinformation.You can pick up an incoming call by using the DPickup/GPickup soft key. To use callpickup, you need to configure the call pickup code beforehand on a global or per-linebasis via web user interface.NoteDirected Call PickupTo enable directed call pickup and configure the directed call pickup code on a globalbasis via web user interface:1. Click on Features->Call Pickup.2. Select Enabled from the pull-down list of Directed Call Pickup.3. Enter the directed call pickup code in the Directed Call Pickup Code field.4. Click Confirm to accept the change.The call park code and call park retrieve code are predefined on the system server.Contact your system administrator for more information.If the parked call is not retrieved within a period of time assigned by the system, thephone performing call park feature will receive call back.If there are many incoming calls at the same time, pressing the GPickup soft key on thephone will pick up the call that rings first.
